I'm Mary Kalampalika, a children's book and comic-book artist from Greece! I was born in Athens in 1994 and studied Marketing and Communications in Athens University of Economics and Business.

I then decided to chase my lifelong passion of drawing and got my Bachelor of Arts in Sketch-Comics-Cartoon from AKTO Art and Design College..

I now illustrate books and teach art to kids and adults alike. I also work as a Digital Design professor at my alma mater.

I draw inspiration from nature and folklore and love cute whimsical characters. In my free time I enjoy all kinds of arts and crafts and no surface is safe from my paints. I'm happy as long as I have an arts project and a good cup of tea!
